CNS closes Taiwan financing

China Network Systems has closed a NT$40.2bn ($1.37bn) seven year loan, getting a mix of demand from foreign and Taiwanese banks. The deal was split between NT$37.2bn of term financing, and a NT$3bn revolver.

Bank of Taiwan, Cathay United Bank, Citi, Crédit Agricole CIB, DBS and King’s Town Bank were the bookrunners of the deal, and prefunded it before pitching to other banks.

They managed to get further commitments from E.Sun Commercial Bank, Hua Nan Commercial Bank, Land Bank of Taiwan, Mega International ...
