Japan equity trading chief departs Morgan Stanley

The US investment bank has lost its head of equities trading for Japan, Ken Kishimoto. Separately the bank intends to build up its regional equity derivatives business under new Asia equities head Gokul Laroia.

Ken Kishimoto, head of equity trading for Japan at Morgan Stanley MUFG Securities has left, asiamoney.com has learnt. The news comes at the same time as Eugene Mak, an executive director in Asia equity derivative sales to institutional clients, departed from Morgan Stanley's Hong Kong office.
