EuroWeek Asia’s 2012 awards are now open for voting — and we are asking you to help us decide the most impressive loans, bonds, ECM deals, issuers, law firms, rating agencies and banks before our poll closes in two weeks. We have taken a new approach to our awards this year, creating shortlists for all categories before asking our readers and other market participants to vote. We are also taking a new approach to our overall bank award — this year, the best bank will not be decided by a separate vote, but by combining the votes banks receive for the top honours in the ECM, bond and loan polls. The deal shortlists were all created using a points-system for a number of different categories. These categories were different for the bond, loan and ECM markets, but they all considered the strength of execution, the spread of demand, the novelty of a deal or structure and the volatility in the wider market when a deal was executed.
