VTB wows Aussie dollar investors with debut

VTB Capital came to market with its inaugural dollar trade on Wednesday, pricing a benchmark trade at the tight end of guidance. Demand for the deal was strong enough that syndicate bankers involved thought that VTB would easily be able to build on this foothold with future issuances.

ANZ and VTB Capital priced the A$500m ($523.41m) December 2017 bonds at a yield of 7.5%, at the tight end of a guidance range of 7.5%-7.6%.
