Fresenius calls 5.5% 2016 high yield bonds

Fresenius, the German health care group, will call its entire €650m 5.5% 2016 bond issue.

The notes will be redeemed at a price of 100.916 plus accrued interest on February 7.

Fresenius plans to finance the redemption through existing credit lines and by drawings under its senior secured credit agreement, which implies interest savings of approximately €20m at current rates, the company said.
