IFC record deal as Kiwi volumes set to soar

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) sold the largest ever Kauri bond by an sovereign, supranational or agency issuer on Tuesday, capturing a record set just a fortnight before. 2013’s issuance of Kauri bonds has already topped 2012’s, with favourable market conditions and continued demand for Kiwi dollar debt suggesting that the deluge of issuance is unlikely to dry up soon.
