Croatia returns in 10 year with $7.75bn book

The Republic of Croatia printed its first 10 year bond for two years on Tuesday, selling a $1.5bn issue of 5.5% 2023s via Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan. The book reached $7.75bn.

The country’s last 10 year bond was placed in March 2011, when it sold $1.5bn 6.325% 2021s. It has since sold bonds of a shorter maturity though — Croatia’s last benchmark sized international print was a $1.5bn five year priced in April 2012.
