Ista heads to syndication at 7.25x total leverage

The loans supporting CVC Capital Partners’ buy-out of German metering company Ista International are set to be launched into syndication next week.

Deutsche Bank is leading the transaction, with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Nomura and UniCredit the bookrunning arrangers.

CVC agreed to buy Ista from Charterhouse Capital Partners last week. The buy-out has a total leverage of 7.25 times, with senior leverage of 5.5 times.
