Areif closes S$680m, allocations complete

Bankers working on Areif Singapore’s S$680m ($550m) three year loan have closed syndication and finalised allocations while keeping to a strategy of having limited syndication and targeting only a few lenders.

Australia and New Zealand Bank, Maybank and United Overseas Bank pitched to lenders with a margin of 150bp over the Singapore interbank offered rate, which is flat to the pricing of the company’s previous loan in 2011.
