BoT considers revising down inflation targets – interview
Bank of Thailand governor Prasarn Trairatvoralkul says inflation targets could be revised downwards if the global macroeconomic situations show signs of slowing growth.
The Bank of Thailand (BoT) could lower its inflation forecast this year in light of slowing global growth and falling commodity prices.
In an exclusive e-mail interview with Asiamoney PLUS, BoT governor Prasarn Trairatvoralkul said that economic growth is now more of a concern than inflation.
