Dodd-Frank Provision Called A Threat To Private Securitization
Sens. Mark Warner (D-Va.) and Chris Coons (D-Del.) have expressed concern in a letter to the heads of the Federal Reserve and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission among other regulators that a risk-retention provision in the Dodd-Frank Act requiring a premium capital cash reserve account could threaten a revival of the private securitization market.
