U.K. Banks May Need Separate Auditing Rules

U.K. banks need a unique set of accounting and governance codes separate from those in other sectors in order to regain investor confidence, according to Stephen Haddrill, ceo of the Financial Reporting Council, which audits all businesses and has formed a working group to study the idea of new banking industry rules.
