U.K. Banks Trim Liquid Assets

The U.K.’s largest banks have reduced their liquid assets to 113% of what regulators have recommended them to hold as a buffer against a future crisis, down from more than 130% in June, after the institutions were warned to stop hoarding cash and to lend more.
