Little Impact From U.K. Funding Scheme

The U.K.’s Funding for Lending Scheme has had little impact on lending since launching in August, with the 35 participating banks expanding their loan books by just £500 million ($804.5 million), less than one-tenth of 1 percentage point of total lending, according to the Bank of England.
