MISC sends out $750m RFP

Malaysia International Shipping Corp has sent out a request for proposal to banks for a loan of around $750m, and is giving lenders until the end of the month to make a pitch.


The deal is likely to have a tenor of five years, said bankers.

MISC’s $1bn five year loan from 2008 matures in September this year, and bankers say the new deal will help it refinance some of that debt.
