Rising issuance to weigh on Asian credit: Nomura

Asia credit remains a hostage to poor technicals with new bond issuance in the coming months likely to put additional pressure on the asset class’ performance, says the bank.

Capital market activity in Asia is expected to return in the next few months after being relatively quiet over the summer period, suggesting that the rise in issuance is likely to affect bond performance towards the end of the year.
