KEB sells $321m stake in Shinhan

Seoul based Korea Exchange Bank raised W340bn ($321m) on October 22, having sold a 2.9% stake in Hana Financial Group.

The 8.4m shares were sold at a price of W40,525, which is the bottom of an indicative price range that came with a W40,750 ceiling.

The pricing was fair considering Hana’s stock had been trading at a two year high of W42,500 only as recent as October 18, ...
