Bank of Chongqing opens IPO door for Chinese regional banks

The long anticipated arrival of Chinese provincial banks on Hong Kong’s stock exchange market is finally underway after Bank of Chongqing started premarketing its $600m IPO on October 14.

The premarketing process lasts one week after which dealers will decide whether to launch bookbuilding.
