Property developer Kaisa plans rights issue

Kaisa Group Holdings, a Chinese real estate developer, is planning to tap shareholders for a HK$2.73bn ($351.1m) rights issue.

The firm has been absent from the equity capital market for over two years. This will be its debut rights issue. It is raising capital to fund part of a property acquisition in Beijing, according to a stock exchange filing.
