NatWest broadens ESG offering with debut social housing bond

NatWest expanded its environmental, social and governance (ESG) offering with its debut social housing bond this week, the first from a UK financial issuer, landing the €1bn deal well through fair value.

The proceeds from the bond will solely support the firm's lending to non-profit housing associations that provide affordable accommodation in the UK.
