Bank supply to be muted ahead of US election

Despite a recent deal surge, investors and issuers are set to pull away from the primary market with just one full week left to go before the US presidential election.

“I don’t know of anybody currently looking to issue in the primary market,” said one syndicate banker. “There are so many unexpected things around the upcoming election and investors are keeping their cards close to their chests.”
