FCA warns on insider information

Julia Hoggett, director of market oversight at the Financial Conduct Authority, said that market participants need to be careful about insider information, and that companies should be overseeing staff use of private devices at a time when many are working from home.

Hoggett said that in the first half of the year there was more follow-on equity issuance in the UK than in the next seven major European bourses combined, according to a published version of a speech given at a City & Financial Global event on Monday.
