Falck issues first Italian green convertible

Falck Renewables, the Italian renewable energy company, has issued a €200m green convertible bond, joining the swathe of companies that have moved into the asset class recently.

It is the first Italian green convertible bond, and the third green equity-linked security issued in Europe after Neoen, which brought the region's first in May, and EDF, which issued a €2.4bn green convertible last week, the largest so far globally.
