European banks get ready for euro trades

FIG deal arrangers say the euro market could reopen for business as early as next week, with more investors set to return from their holidays.

European financial institutions have been monitoring the market as they exit from earnings blackouts.

Three banks in the region sold subordinated debt in US dollars last week, proving that the Yankee bond market is open for business in the height of the summer period.
