Klaveness signs Norwegian sustainable first

Klaveness Combination Carriers, a Norwegian shipping company, has signed what it claims to be the first sustainability-linked bank loan for the sector in Norway, as the outlook remains gloomy for global shipping.

Klaveness has signed a $60m facility, made up of a term loan and revolving credit, to finance the purchase of two new vessels. 

Nordea coordinated the trade, while Crédit Agricole was sustainability agent.
