EIB eyes more CABs after extending criteria

The European Investment Bank will be able to issue more Climate Awareness Bonds (CABs) after extending its lending framework to make two additional categories eligible for inclusion.

EIB has extended its CAB eligibility to the research, development and deployment of innovative low carbon technologies and electric rail infrastructure and rolling stock, as well as electric buses.
