UK takes £7bn with second jumbo syndication in as many weeks

Following last week’s record-breaking Gilt syndication, the UK returned for another impressive result, scooping up £7bn from a £52bn book and pricing with a minimal new issue premium, according to the leads.

Joint leads Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, NatWest Markets and UBS opened the books on the UK’s new £7bn 0.5% October 2061 conventional Gilt at a spread of 0.5bp over the 4% January 2060 Gilt, before pricing flat to the reference Gilt as the books ...
