US corporate bond bankers wonder: where is the Fed?

US bond bankers want the US Federal Reserve to clarify its timetable to start buying investment grade corporate bonds, as investors are starting to show signs of fatigue after a torrent of high grade issuance.

Five issuers raised $7bn on Thursday, bringing total supply this week to almost $45bn, as the blistering pace of issuance continued for a third month in a row. Honeywell International raised $3bn, Boston Scientific $1.7bn.
