StanChart creates new securities services unit

Standard Chartered is forming a new financing and securities services unit that will combine securities services, which currently operates within transaction banking, with portfolio risk management in the financial markets business.

The new group, effective April 2, will be led by Margaret Harwood-Jones, global head of securities services, and Emmanuel Ramambason, global head of portfolio risk management, according to a press release on Friday. 

Harwood-Jones is based in Singapore and Ramambason is based in London.
