First Eagle raises $782m for middle market direct lending

First Eagle Alternative Credit on Thursday announced that it has raised a $782m middle market direct lending fund, its fourth such investment vehicle to date.

The fund will provide senior secured loans to companies with $10m-$40m in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization.  The fund is the fourth closed by the firm, following a $511m direct lending fund raised in 2017.
