Sophos founders exit before Thoma Bravo sale

Peter Lammer and Jan Hruska, the co-founders of UK cybersecurity company Sophos Group, have sold the last of their stock in the company before it is due to be acquired by US private equity fund Thoma Bravo next year.

Thoma Bravo’s acquisition was announced in October and is due to close in the first quarter of 2020. Sophos’ shareholders approved the takeover at a general meeting on Tuesday.
