Carlyle returns with new aircraft ABS deal

Carlyle Aviation Partners is readying a $540.36m aircraft securitization backed mostly by mid to end-of-life aircraft. The record-high top lessee and country concentrations, as well as the weaker lessee profiles, are risks to the deal investors and rating agencies say.

Fitch Ratings assigned an A rating to the class ‘A’ notes, BBB to the class ‘B’ notes and a BB rating to the class ‘C’ notes. Goldman Sachs is the sole structuring agent for the deal.
