EU to launch international green finance body

The European Commission is planning to unveil in October, together with 10 non-EU states, an international organisation to stimulate cross-border cooperation on green finance initiatives.

The International Platform on Sustainable Finance is intended to foster the exchange of information and coordination of policies.

The EU's initial partners in the venture are Argentina, Canada, Chile, China, India, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, Morocco and South Africa.
