Our decisions will be made on the basis of pitch documents submitted by banks and meetings with our team of journalists and editors.

Banks should submit their written pitches by October 16, 2019. The aim with the written submission is to allow each bank, in its own words, to tell the story of its achievements, innovations and performance during the awards period, backed up where relevant by supporting data sourced from Dealogic, and client testimonials.

Once submissions are received, our team of editors and journalists will then shortlist candidates in each category before arranging pitch meetings between mid-October and mid-November. Deal pitches should be no more than five pages long. Pitches for the bank awards should be no more than 10 pages.

The awards period runs from November 16 2018 to November 15 2019. We will accept supplementary written pitches for deals that are priced after the banks submit their pitches and which fall in the awards period. We may then follow up with a further discussion.

The results of the awards will be released in mid-December. The winners will be presented with their trophies during an awards dinner to be held in early 2020 in Hong Kong.

Please contact us if you have any questions about the awards process. See below for all the important details and guidelines for the pitches. We look forward to receiving your submissions.

Thanks and good luck.
