SMBC replaces Bloomberg with Itiviti for execution platform

SMBC Nikko Capital Markets has replaced Bloomberg’s sell-side execution and order management solutions (SSEOMS) platform with the Itiviti order management system.

Earlier this year, Bloomberg revealed it was planning to ditch its SSEOMS and withdraw from the equities OMS market. On Wednesday, fintech vendor Itiviti announced that SMBC had replaced Bloomberg’s platform with its multi-asset OMS for high-touch trading.
