CVC raises $1.4bn for global distressed strategy

Investment manager CVC Credit Partners has closed its latest fund, a $1.42bn vehicle that will focus on distressed opportunities across North America and Europe.

The firm announced the closing of its Global Special Situations Fund II (GSS II) on Monday, adding that it surpassed its original goal of $1bn in eight months.
