ABN Amro has appointed an ex-Barclays banker as its new head of UK FIG DCM.
Vi Davda starts at ABN Amro later this week. She left Barclays in January, where she was a director on fixed income syndicate. She had been at Barclays for six years, first in equity investor relations for two years and the remainder on syndicate.
But this is a return to an asset class she is already very familiar with as Barclays had hired Davda from JP Morgan, where she had worked in FIG DCM for over six years.
Davda is one of a string of experienced debt capital markets bankers to have left Barclays in London this year. That string has included names such as Peter Jurdjevic, Barclays’ head of global finance solutions, and John Wright, Barclays’ head of financial institutions bond syndicate for EMEA.
