With equities in green, Thursday was a fair sailing day for corporate bond issues in Europe, and five issuers took advantage, including two French names and two Swedish. Demand was strong and terms tight.
“I think it really comes back to central banks,” a fixed income investor said. “We have the Fed Open Market Committee meeting next week and I think sentiment in credit markets has definitely been supported by somewhat looser monetary policy. We will see what is going to happen
