India sends RFP for RailTel divestment

India’s Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (Dipam) is seeking banks to lead the IPO of broadband group RailTel Corp of India, according to a filing on its website.

The department issued a request for proposals (RFP) for bookrunning lead managers this week, giving merchant bankers until June 11, 2019 to respond. The syndicate will comprise up to three firms experienced in public offerings.
