BofA’s Coben on leave as bank investigates social media leak

One of Europe’s most senior equity capital markets bankers, Craig Coben, is on leave from Bank of America, pending an internal investigation into the accidental disclosure of inside information on social media.

Coben is vice-chairman of global capital markets at Bank of America in London. 

The bank is investigating a report in the satirical magazine Private Eye last week that he had accidentally broadcast a private conversation with a friend via Periscope, a live video streaming app on Twitter.
