Rogers to take over Coen’s job as Basel secretary

Canadian regulator Carolyn Rogers has been appointed as the next secretary general of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, replacing William Coen.

Rogers will take up her role on August 14, and it will last for an initial term of three years. She has been assistant superintendent of regulation at the Canadian Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OFSI) since 2016.
