Since the beginning of the year, GlobalCapital has been working with those in the derivatives markets to identify the strongest contenders for each award. Those firms form the shortlist of nominees for each category. Nominees are now invited to meet with GlobalCapital from February 4 until March 20 to make their case as to why they are the best in class.

The winners will be decided by an editorial panel and announced at a gala dinner at the Metropolitan Club in New York on Thursday, May 30.

The awards aim to honour the firms that  innovate, grow and improve derivatives markets in the Americas.

Each award is judged taking into account nominees’ innovations in product and service, commitments to new markets, improvements in efficiency, liquidity and market stability, as well as client guidance.
