Land NRW shows ultra-long demand with ‘crucial 2% yield’

The State of North Rhine-Westphalia won strong demand on Wednesday for its longest ever trade, allowing it to print a size almost double its target.

Leads Bank of America Merrill Lynch, DekaBank, Deutsche Bank and LBBW priced a €900m September 2078 issue for Land NRW. The spread was set at 50bp over mid-swaps —1bp tighter than guidance — following strong demand throughout pricing. The final book reached above €1bn.
