Victoria Clarke had been with HSBC since June 2015. She was responsible for green, social and sustainability bond structuring advisory and deal origination at HSBC across SSA, FIG and corporates.

She was also focused on building out HSBC's broader commitment to sustainable financing, according to her Linkedin profile.

Before HSBC, she was an ESG investment analyst at Fidelity International for two years.

HSBC is fifth in Dealogic’s league table of global green bonds, having printed an apportioned volume of $4.0bn so far this year across 29 deals. It holds a 5.2% market share.

The departure is one of two from DCM in the last week, with an associate director in FIG and corporate DCM also leaving the bank.
