Clifden’s Fairhold CMBS move gets its day in court

Clifden IOM’s claims to have appointed administrators to Fairhold Securitisation Limited, a CMBS issuer, were “fanciful” and “incredible” a court heard on Wednesday.

The High Court was standing room only as Fairhold and the note trustee, Global Loan Agency Services Limited (GLAS), tried to invalidate the appointment of three individuals as administrators of Fairhold. Clifden, the real estate focused fund manager, had bypassed GLAS to make the appointments.
