UBS appoints new head of global ECM as Kendall steps up

UBS has promoted Javier Martinez-Piqueras to head of global equity capital markets, replacing Sam Kendall, who will now lead corporate client solutions in the Americas.

The announcement was made in an internal memo sent by Andrea Orcel, president of UBS Investment Bank. Martinez-Piqueras will continue to be based in London.
