BioPharma raises $163.8m in capital raising

BioPharma Credit, a closed end investment fund that provides debt capital for the life sciences industry, raised $163.8m in a primary share placement on Thursday to fund further investment.

The company had originally looked to raise up to $300m in order to fund further investment in biopharmaceutical debt. The funds were raised through the issuance or new ‘C’ shares at $1 a share.
