SSA volumes set to be steady in 2018 as issuers publish plans

Public sector bankers expect 2018 issuance volumes to be broadly in line with 2017, as borrowers this week started to circulate their funding needs for next year.

Some issuers that published plans this week need more and others less, providing a balancing effect on overall levels, said an SSA syndicate official.

“It looks like it’s going to be roughly the same,” he said.
