After Monday’s dual tranche offering from Unilever, the sterling corporate bond market paused ahead of Thursday’s Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee.

However, once that passed, Land Securities reopened the market with a £1bn pair of long dated tranches.

Unilever had issued a £250m seven year tranche and a £250m 12 year, but Land Securities opted for the other end of the market, with 20 and 40 year maturities.
