Arena Events brings £60m IPO to reduce its leverage

Arena Events, the UK supplier of temporary structures to festivals and sporting events such as Wimbledon and Glastonbury, is preparing to go public on London’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM).

Cenkos Securities is bookrunner.

The company will raise £59.3m by placing new shares with institutional investors, to repay £31m of outstanding loan notes and £13.2m of senior debt, according to its intention to float document, published on Tuesday.
